Former Valley soldier killed in Afghanistan

Another soldier, who grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, has been killed in Afghanistan, it was reported Friday. PFC Diego Montoya, 20, who was born in McAllen and grew up in Mission, was killed while on duty, according to reports.
