Here is the 2012 schedule for the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings. The WhiteWings open their season on May 23 with four games in Fort Worth against the Cats. Their first two of 56 home games are on May 27 and 28. Then the WhiteWings play a pair of games in Edinburg, followed by a four-game series with the Abilene Prairie Dogs at Harlingen Field. Harlingen, Harlingen South join Los Fresnos and Brownsville schools

Harlingen and Harlingen South will be in District 32-5A next season, along with Los Fresnos and six Brownsville schools. The biennial realignments were announced Thursday in Edinburg. San Benito stays in District 31-5A, which includes Weslaco, Weslaco East, Donna, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo schools and the McAllen schools. Another delay in connection with Limas case

Still another delay in connection with the former state District Judge Abel Limas scandal. Port Isabel attorney Ray Marchan, who had been scheduled to go on trial in federal district court on Thursday, has been granted a delay until March. He has pleaded not guilty to seven counts involving racketeering. He is free on a $100,000 unsecured bond.
