Medicare payments won’t increase much in 2012

More good news for the older folks, Medicare payments in 2012 are not going to increase much as had earlier been feared.
It was reported Thursday that basically they will increase by $3.50 a month, from $96.40 to $99.90 a month.
It will be the first increase in two years, due to the fact that there had been no cost of living increases in Social Security payouts.
Those who receive Social Security payments will receive 3.5 percent more in 2012 than they now receive

    Good to see this news. There are many older people who are only surviving because of Social Security.
