Red Tide reportedly reaches SPI

It has been reported that the dreaded Red Tide that has been moving south after infitering the Port Aransas Corpos Christi area, had moved to South Padre Island.
On Friday, it was reported it has reached the areas of entrances 5 and 6 at the Island. No fish kill had been reported.
The red tide is not dangerous to people other than causing discomfort, but can harm fish life.
A major problem is it affects tourists from vising areas where it exists.
