Spurs fall apart in the fourth, lose 111-97 to Thunder, series back to SA

The San Antonio Spurs fell to pieces in the fourth quarter Sunday night after a close ballgame, losing by 111-97 to the Oklahoma City Thunder in game four of the NBA Western Conference semifinal round.
Now with the series tied at 2-2, the action moves back to the Alamo City Tuesday. Gametime is to be announced for the play at AT&T Center.
Tony Parker led the Spurs with 22 points, Kawhi Leonard and 21 and LaMarcus Aldriedge scored 20. However Leonard and Aldridge only combined for one point in the fiourth.
The Spurs had led in the NBA Western Conference semifinals 2-1, after their Friday 100-96 win over the Thunder.
The Spurs were led by Leonard and backed up by Aldridge and Tony Parker in defeatng the Thunder Friday..
Leonard scored 31 points, including two free throws with 2.7 seconds remaining to seal the win. Aldridge scored 24 points and Parker had 19.

The Thunder, humiliated last Saturday night, got their revenge Monday by nipping the Spurs 98-97 at San Antonio’s AT&T Center. The win evens the semifinal round at 1-1.
The Thunder was led by Russell Westbrook with 29 points and Kevin Durant with 28. High scorer of the game was Spurs LaMarcus Aldridge, who had 41. The Spurs, who shot at 63 percent in game one, shot 43 percent Monday.

The San Antonio Spurs never trailed and blasted the Oklahoma City Thunder, 124-92 in the first game of of the NBA’s rWerstern Division at AT&T Center Saturday night.
The Spurs led by 42-20 at the end of the first quarter. La Marcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 38 points.
The Thunder had advanced the previous Monday with a 118-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
The Spurs defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 4-0 in the first round.
