Two more Christmas parades set for area on Saturday

Haven’t had enough Christmas parade action?
There are two more Christmas parades scheduled for the area, both to be held next Saturday.
Harlingen has held its annual Jaycees Christmas Parade last week and on Sunday Rio Hondo also had a lighted parade.
The San Benito Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday and go through the downtown area. Parade officials say it is the longest Christmas parade in the Valley.
Also, beginning at 5:30 p.m., is the Los Fresnos Christmas Parade. It will begin at Memorial Park off N. Arroyo Boulevard, travel down Arroyo to Ocean Boulevard (Hwy 100) and go east to City Park.
At the park, it’s the Christmas Festival where there will be gifts for the kids, food and an appearance by Santa Claus.
